🇬🇪 WE RECEIVED A GEORGIAN TEACHER

Last week, as part of the Erasmus project, the high school welcomed Maka Ormotsadze, a teacher of food engineering and oenology at Telavi University in Georgia. For a few days, she joined her 2 compatriots Nika Tskhovrebadze and Patrisia Mikelashvili, Georgian trainees on the high school for several weeks.

📅 On the program of her visit:

🍇 Teaching viticulture in Qvevri to our BTS viticulture oenology students

👩 🏫 Animating a stand on legumes internationally with our students and external guests attending the Sustainable Food Day. This stand covers the subject of plant proteins and their association with wines.

☘️ Participating in the round table and other workshops during Sustainable Food Day

🏫 Discovering the high school, the farm, the agroecological sites

🤝 Meeting staff and discussing on educational systems and pedagogical practices

🔎 Discovering the Rhone Institute and its projects accompanied by Nikoloz and Patrisia. Their guide of the day, Nicolas Richard is a trainer at the high school and Institute employee.

🍷 Tasting French and Georgian wines and presenting food and wine pairings.

This was a week with lots of rich exchanges where Maka was able to present her country, university and culture.
